    Dell and MusicMatch
News This Hispanic Business article discusses MusicMatch and Dell's partnership.

As previously rumored, Dell will be using MusicMatch's jukebox software as a co-brand partner as the software to drive the Dell Music Store and interface with the Dell DJ.

MusicMatch generally has the same liberal licensing as Apple's iTunes Music Store. The main difference is the use of Windows Media Audio in MusicMatch.

    TechTV Dell Digital Jukebox Review
News TechTV gives its take on the Dell DJ.

Although I still rank iPod No. 1, the Dell DJ, along with the hot Rio Karma, certainly belongs in the top echelon of portable hard-drive MP3 players. The DJ's greatness starts with the quality of its build. The friendly $300 price for the 20GB version is $100 less than an iPod with the same capacity. (The 20GB DJ costs $300 after mail-in rebate. Dell is unsure how long the $30 rebate will last.) Take a couple points off for the play-all-tracks conundrum and average sound quality, tack on points for amazing battery life (plus 3.5-hour charge) and neat wired remote control, and you've got a solid, four-star product.
